Chantilly Air!

Andreas Bentz left a very nice post about me on Air Nav but what he failed to mention was my side of the story. Andreas came in to PHK in a Commander. As soon as he stepped out of it Andreas was all smiles, by far one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Andreas just landed a job with Chantilly air and was on an extended cross country for time building in the commander. He had not eaten anything since the night before and in Latin culture that just doesn't fly. I decided he needed food and fast so I called the local restaurant to see if they were open(they were closed). Now just to show you how God takes care of his children I'l share another story. Earlier that day, a friend(Jacob), had some female friends come to the airport because he was going to give them a plane ride. They came with luch for an army and brought pork fajitas, Venenzuelan style. Well Andrea was able to enjoy a meal fit for a king that day because of these young ladies. He made my day with a friendly smile and God made his with a great meal. Thank you Andreas.

Post Slacker.

I know that I have been slacking on my post but I have been so busy on my off time building websites, flying and spending time with the family that I have not had time to post pics or anything. I think that most of us lead very busy lives and don't have time to relax. One of my goals is to get to the place where I can work part time to support myself and be able to do the important things in life like spending time with the family and spending time with God. I can worry about making money for luxuries when the kids get older and have thier own busy lives(haha). For now here are some pictures that I took recently. The first pictures are of a swarm of bees that invaded us last week. The rest are of acouple of planes that invaded us last week as well. The last picture is of a plane that had a wing span so long that if the wings were a foot lower it would have clipped the runway light right off.

New Happenings!

I want to thank God for all the wonderful people that he has placed around me. I used to pray that he would surround me with great Christian men a long time ago and he is now answering those prayer. I want to let everybody know that God is listening to our prayers. No matter what your situation is He is listening. I know that sometimes in my life I feel as if He is no where to be found and no matter how much I know that He is there I still feel like He is not. Remember wether your situation is an unsaved loved one, a matter of healing, a financial need or a spiritual need, He is ever present. Just keep youself in prayer and don't complain to Him all the time. I bet that 50% of the time we spend in prayer is spent complaining about the situation instead of giving thanks for the soon answered prayer.
Well lets get on with some pictures that I have taken here at the airport. This first one was taken by a friend of mine that was checkin out my camera.

Kevin owns Aviation Adventures in Lantana and operates this beautiful Bell 47. The Bell 47 is the helicopter pilots dream helicopter. Kevin Has become a good friend of Pahokee aviation. I'll be waiting for that flight Kevin.

Palm Beach County's Bad Boys. Thank you PBCSO for all the hard work you guys do to keep our County safe.

Danny and Bobby Erneston of Erneston Produce can be considered airport locals. They love to fly and come around quite often.

I was in the Coast Guard for 4 years but never even stepped inside of a Falcon. I walked by them and never even looked in the window. What is wrong with me? I think that I was so into C130J's that I didn't want to offend myself and look upon another aircraft. Anyway they came by the airport and I got a few shots.

My wife always tells me that viewers don't just want to see pictures of airplanes all the time so I decided to post some pictures that I took the other day. Michelle and I went to City Place together, with our cameras, and boy did we have fun. Check them out.

Here is The University of Florida's King Air. They fly in quite often for prospect footbal players.

Here is a 206 mega pixel camera. It is actually 8 cameras combined and cost 4 times the aircraft it is mounted on. If you are lookin at an aerial shot on Google this is the aircraft that shot it. A great software for aerial viewing is Google Earth.

Last but not least Justin Jones flew solo on the 15th of February. Justin attends Blue Hole Helicopters for flight training. He was surprised to find out that he was going to solo that day but it all worked out great because his family was there for support. Great job Justin.

I also flew solo on the 6th of February and video recorded it, so stay tuned for a new video coming out soon.

Helicopters, Helicopters and more Helicopters!

Last Monday Frost Flying was the name of the game and boy did we have a croud. We had over 30 helicopters come into Pahokee Aviation and we had 93 fuelings performed from 4:00 pm Monday until 6:00 pm on Tuesday. To give you an idea of how much work this is for us I personally have done 34 on a Saturday and did not have time to sit down to take a break. Anyway, I met alot of Helicopter pilots and alot of veggies were saved because of them. Thank you very much Helicopter Pilots of America for saving our food.

Visitors of another kind.

Well it has been a while since I posted but John went out of town and I suddenly became a very busy person. Here are a few pics of the wildlife that live at Pahokee. First on the list is a Burrowing Owl. These little guys are all down the runway and never get into anybodies way. I also have discovered that we have two foxes that live in a colvert next to the ramp area. I happened to be taking pictures of an aircraft on landing and discovered one trying to cross the runway. The rest of the pictures are of customers that have come in to visit and get fuel. Enjoy!

You can see the Fox wanting to cross the runway just as Bill comes in for a landing.

This is Warren Douglas, a writer, that stoped in on his way to a science fiction convention

I love the vivid colors of my new Nikon.

Eduardo is from Cancun, Mexico where he is the owner of Channel 10 Cancun. He purchased this Christian Egle to learn how to fly aerobatics. He is here with his instructor.
